Can peptides help with post-surgery recovery?

BPC-157 and TB-500 are the most researched peptides for post-surgical healing, with preclinical studies showing they may support tissue repair through enhanced collagen synthesis, angiogenesis, and inflammatory modulation. However, as of 2025, human clinical trials remain extremely limited, and neither peptide is FDA-approved for any medical use. A 2025 review in Orthopaedic Sports Medicine emphasizes that while animal data is promising, well-designed human trials are still needed before these peptides can be recommended clinically.
