reconstitution
Can you freeze reconstituted peptides?
Reconstituted peptides can be frozen at -20°C to -80°C, but repeated freeze-thaw cycles significantly degrade peptide quality and should be avoided. For best results, divide your reconstituted solution into single-use aliquots before freezing, and only thaw what you need for each use. Peptides containing cysteine, methionine, or tryptophan are particularly sensitive to degradation and may require storage at -80°C under oxygen-free conditions.
