Quick Start
- Tap your vial size (e.g., 5mg)
- Tap your water amount (e.g., 2ml)
- Select your syringe type (U-100 is most common)
- See instant result and dose guide
Understanding the Result
mcg per unit tells you how many micrograms of peptide are in each unit mark on your syringe.
Example: If result shows "25 mcg per unit" and you want a 250mcg dose, draw to 10 units on your syringe.
Syringe Types
U-100 (Standard): Most common in USA. 100 units = 1ml. Used for insulin and most peptides.
U-40 (Compounded): Less common. 40 units = 1ml. ⚠️ Using wrong syringe = 2.5× dosing error!
Tuberculin: 1ml research syringe with 100 unit markings.
Purity Adjustment
Most peptides are 95-98% pure (not 100%). Check your Certificate of Analysis (COA) for exact purity.
Click "Advanced Options" to adjust purity if your COA shows less than 100%.
Common Mistakes
- Wrong syringe type: Always verify U-100 vs U-40
- Ignoring purity: Can cause 3-5% under-dosing
- Too concentrated: Use more water if concentration >10mg/ml
- Confusing mg and mcg: 1mg = 1000mcg (huge difference!)
Safety Tips
- Always double-check calculations before injecting
- Start with conservative doses (lower end of range)
- Use within 28 days after reconstitution (refrigerated)
- Inspect solution before each use (should be clear)
- When in doubt, consult a compounding pharmacist
